Valves
Butterfly Valve (2-inch)
The most common IBC discharge valve. Features a rotating disc that provides quick quarter-turn open/close operation. Available in polypropylene and stainless steel. Ideal for viscous liquids and slurries where full-bore flow is needed.
Ball Valve (2-inch)
A precision shut-off valve with a stainless steel or brass ball mechanism. Provides a tighter seal than butterfly valves and is preferred for chemical and solvent applications where drip-free closure is critical.
Cam Lock Adapter
Allows quick connection of hoses and pumps to the IBC outlet without threading. Available in Type A, B, C, D, E, and F configurations in aluminum, stainless steel, and polypropylene to match your existing hose system.
Caps & Covers
6-Inch Screw Cap (150mm)
Standard top-fill cap with integrated gasket. Replacement caps restore a proper seal when the original is cracked, cross-threaded, or missing. Available in natural HDPE, black, and vented configurations.
2-Inch Dust Cap
Protective cap that threads onto the valve outlet to keep the discharge port clean during storage and transport. Prevents contamination from dust, insects, and moisture between fills.
IBC Dust Cover (Full Top)
A fitted cover that drapes over the entire top of the IBC to protect the fill opening and top surface from rain, debris, and UV exposure during outdoor storage. Made from UV-stabilized polyethylene or heavy-duty nylon.
Gaskets & Seals
EPDM Gasket
The standard gasket material for water, food-grade liquids, and mild chemicals. Ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber provides excellent resistance to heat, ozone, and steam. Temperature range: -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F.
Viton (FKM) Gasket
Premium fluoroelastomer gasket for aggressive chemicals, fuels, and solvents. Viton resists hydrocarbons, acids, and high temperatures far beyond what EPDM can handle. Essential for chemical distribution applications.
PTFE (Teflon) Gasket
Chemically inert gasket suitable for virtually any liquid. PTFE gaskets are the go-to choice when chemical compatibility is uncertain or when multiple products will flow through the same container.
Adapters & Fittings
S60x6 to Garden Hose Adapter
Connects the standard IBC coarse thread to a standard 3/4-inch garden hose. Popular for rainwater collection, irrigation, and washdown applications where a gravity-fed hose connection is all you need.
IBC-to-IBC Connector
Links two IBCs together through their bottom valves to create a gravity-fed, interconnected storage system. Useful for increasing total capacity or maintaining a continuous supply from a primary tank to a reserve.
Reducer Fittings
Step-down adapters from 2-inch IBC outlets to 1-inch, 3/4-inch, or 1/2-inch pipe threads. Available in polypropylene, brass, and stainless steel for flow-rate control and connection to smaller plumbing.
Heating & Temperature Control
IBC Heating Blanket
An insulated electric wrap that surrounds the IBC bottle to maintain product temperature in cold environments. Thermostatically controlled to prevent overheating. Available in 120V and 240V with temperature ranges from 40 degrees F to 160 degrees F. Essential for preventing freezing or maintaining viscosity of thick liquids.
Insulation Jacket
A passive thermal blanket that wraps the IBC to slow heat loss or gain. Does not generate heat itself but pairs with heating blankets or warm fill temperatures to keep products within spec during transit and storage.
Mixing & Agitation
IBC Tote Mixer
A top-mounted electric or pneumatic mixer with a long shaft that reaches into the IBC through the 6-inch opening. Keeps liquids homogeneous, prevents settling of suspended solids, and ensures consistent product dispensing from first gallon to last.
Spill Containment & Safety
Spill Containment Pallet
A secondary containment pallet rated to hold the full volume of the IBC (275 or 330 gallons) in the event of a catastrophic leak. Required by EPA 40 CFR 264 for hazardous material storage. Made from polyethylene with a removable grate for easy cleaning.
Drip Tray
A low-profile containment tray that catches drips from the valve area during dispensing operations. Keeps your floor clean and compliant without the full footprint of a containment pallet.
Liners
IBC Liner (Single-Use)
A form-fitted polyethylene bag that drops into the IBC bottle to create a barrier between the product and the container wall. Eliminates the need for cleaning between product changes and protects the bottle from staining or chemical attack. Available in standard and food-grade formulations.
Foil Liner (Barrier Film)
A multi-layer foil laminate liner for products sensitive to oxygen or moisture. Provides an airtight, light-proof barrier that extends shelf life for food ingredients, flavors, and pharmaceutical intermediates.

Valve Installation Guide
Replacing a valve on an IBC tote is one of the most common maintenance tasks. Here is a step-by-step guide for safe and proper valve installation.
Butterfly Valve Replacement
Drain the IBC completely
Ensure the container is fully empty. Close the existing valve and position a drip tray beneath the outlet.
Remove the old valve
Grip the valve body firmly and turn counter-clockwise. Most IBC valves use a standard S60x6 coarse thread. A strap wrench helps with stubborn valves.
Inspect the outlet threads
Check the HDPE outlet threads for damage, cracks, or cross-threading. Clean any debris or old gasket material from the threads.
Seat the new gasket
Place the new EPDM, Viton, or PTFE gasket onto the valve body. Ensure it sits flat and centered with no wrinkles or overlap.
Thread the new valve
Align the valve with the outlet and turn clockwise by hand. Do not use tools — hand-tight plus a quarter-turn is sufficient. Over-tightening can crack the HDPE outlet.
Leak test
Fill the IBC with a few inches of water and check for drips at the valve connection. Tighten slightly if needed. Confirm the valve opens and closes smoothly.
Cam Lock Adapter Installation
Remove the existing valve
Follow steps 1-3 from the butterfly valve procedure to remove the current valve and clean the outlet threads.
Attach the cam lock adapter base
The adapter threads onto the S60x6 outlet just like a standard valve. Hand-tighten with a new gasket in place.
Connect the cam lock coupler
Pull back the cam arms, insert the male adapter into the female coupler, and snap the cam arms into the locked position.
Attach your hose
Connect your hose barb or threaded fitting to the opposite end of the cam lock assembly. Secure with a hose clamp if using a barb fitting.
Verify the connection
Fill partially and check all connection points for leaks. Cam lock connections are designed for quick release — verify the cam arms are fully engaged before pressurizing.
Did You Know?
The S60x6 thread found on most IBC outlets is a 60mm diameter coarse thread with a 6mm pitch. This large, coarse thread was specifically designed for IBC use — it is easy to engage by hand even when wearing gloves, resistant to cross-threading, and provides a strong seal with minimal torque. When buying replacement valves or adapters, always verify the thread specification matches your IBC outlet.
Accessory Compatibility Matrix
Not every accessory works with every IBC or stored product. Use this matrix to identify the right components for your application.
