Custom Branding

Your IBC is often the last piece of packaging your customer sees before using your product. Custom branding transforms a generic container into a professional extension of your brand. We offer screen printing, adhesive label application, and heat-transfer branding directly onto the HDPE bottle surface.

Branding options include your company logo, product name, handling instructions, hazard symbols, lot and batch coding, and barcodes or QR codes for traceability. We can match specific PMS colors and produce short runs starting at just 25 units or scale to thousands for ongoing production programs.

Branding Options

  • - Screen printing (1 to 4 colors, front and back panels)
  • - Pressure-sensitive labels (full color, weatherproof)
  • - Heat-transfer decals for high-durability marking
  • - Embossed or debossed molding for permanent identification
  • - Color-coded caps and valves for product line differentiation
  • - Serialized barcodes and QR codes for lot tracking

Modified Containers

Our fabrication shop at 1405 Worldwide Blvd, Hebron, KY can modify new or reconditioned IBCs to meet specialized requirements. Common modifications include:

Additional Ports & Fittings

We add extra inlet or outlet ports at custom positions on the bottle. Whether you need a side drain, a top vent, a sample port, or a level-sensor fitting, we drill, weld, and gasket it to your specs.

Cut-Away Access Panels

Large openings cut into the top or side of the bottle for easy loading of solid materials, cleaning access, or visual inspection. Reinforced edges prevent cracking and maintain structural integrity.

Integrated Pumps & Dispensing

We mount electric, pneumatic, or hand-operated pumps directly to the IBC with custom brackets and plumbing. The result is a self-contained dispensing station ready to plug in and pour.

Cage Reinforcement

Extra steel bars, cross braces, or protective corner guards added to the cage for high-vibration transport, heavy stacking loads, or rough-terrain deployment on job sites.

Insulation & Jacketing

Spray-foam insulation or removable insulated jackets applied to the bottle and cage for temperature-sensitive products stored outdoors in extreme climates.

Secondary Containment Integration

A permanently attached drip tray or full containment basin welded to the pallet base, turning the IBC into a self-contained, EPA-compliant storage unit.

IBC-Based Systems

Beyond individual container modifications, we design and build complete systems using IBCs as the core storage component. These turnkey setups arrive assembled, tested, and ready to deploy.

Rainwater Collection Systems

Complete gravity-fed or pump-assisted rainwater harvesting systems using food-grade IBCs connected in series. Includes downspout diverters, first-flush filters, overflow piping, and garden hose adapters. Popular for residential gardens, urban farms, and commercial landscape irrigation.

Chemical Dosing & Metering

IBC-based chemical feed systems for water treatment, pool maintenance, and industrial process control. We integrate metering pumps, flow sensors, injection quills, and control panels into a single skid-mounted unit built around one or more IBCs.

Mobile Wash & Rinse Stations

Portable handwashing, equipment rinsing, or part-cleaning stations built on an IBC platform. Includes a pump, spray nozzle, heated water option, and gray-water collection basin. Ideal for construction sites, outdoor events, and agricultural operations.

Bulk Dispensing Stations

Point-of-use dispensing setups for lubricants, cleaners, coatings, or agricultural chemicals. The IBC sits on a containment pallet with an integrated pump, hose reel, metering nozzle, and drip tray, creating a self-contained fueling-station-style setup for liquid products.

Our Engineering Process

Every custom project follows a structured engineering process that ensures your final product meets specifications, budget, and timeline expectations.

01

Discovery & Consultation

We start by understanding your application, environment, stored products, handling requirements, and budget. This initial conversation — typically a 30-minute call or in-person meeting — lets us identify the right approach before any design work begins.

02

Technical Specification

Our engineering team translates your requirements into a detailed technical specification document. This includes materials, dimensions, fittings, safety features, compliance requirements, and any branding elements. You review and approve the spec before we proceed.

03

Design & Prototyping

For complex modifications, we create technical drawings and may build a prototype unit for your evaluation. Prototyping is especially important for new IBC-based systems that integrate multiple components like pumps, mixers, and control systems.

04

Fabrication & Assembly

Approved designs go into production at our Hebron, KY fabrication shop. Our team handles all cutting, welding, drilling, plumbing, and electrical work in-house. This single-facility approach ensures quality control at every stage.

05

Quality Testing

Every custom unit is tested before delivery. Leak tests, pressure tests, flow-rate verification, and functional testing of all mechanical and electrical components. We document test results as part of the project deliverables.

06

Delivery & Support

Finished units are delivered to your facility or staged for pickup. We provide installation guidance, operating instructions, and ongoing technical support. Warranty coverage applies to all custom fabrication work.

Did You Know?

Over 60% of our custom projects start as “I wish my IBC could...” conversations. If you have ever wished your container had an extra port, a built-in pump, a different valve, or could connect to another IBC — chances are we have already built something similar. Bring us your idea, even if it is just a sketch on a napkin, and we will tell you if it is feasible and what it would cost.

Turnaround Times & Minimum Orders

Minimum Order Requirements

We have no minimum order quantity for custom modification projects. We are happy to modify a single IBC if that is what you need. For custom branding projects (screen printing, embossing), the typical minimum is 25 units due to setup costs for printing plates and color mixing.

For IBC-based systems (rainwater, dosing, dispensing), each unit is individually fabricated to order, so quantities of 1 or more are welcome. Volume pricing applies to repeat orders of the same specification — if you need the same custom setup built multiple times, pricing improves significantly starting at 5 units.

Frequently Asked Questions

How much does a custom IBC modification cost?
Cost depends entirely on the scope of work. Simple modifications like adding a port or swapping a valve type start at a modest cost above the base container price. Complex systems with pumps, controls, and custom fabrication are priced as engineered projects. We provide detailed, no-obligation quotes for every custom inquiry — contact us with your requirements and we will respond within 24 hours.
Can you modify IBCs I already own?
Yes. You can ship your existing IBCs to our Hebron, KY facility for modification. We will inspect them, discuss any condition concerns, and proceed with the agreed modifications. If the IBC is in poor condition and not worth modifying, we will let you know before any work is done and can supply a reconditioned or new container as the base instead.
Do custom modifications void the IBC's UN/DOT certification?
In most cases, yes. Modifying the bottle, adding ports, or cutting openings will void the original UN packaging certification. Modified IBCs should be used for storage and non-regulated transport only — not for DOT-regulated hazardous material shipment. If you need containers that maintain UN/DOT certification, we can help you specify custom configurations that stay within certification boundaries.
What is the warranty on custom fabrication work?
All custom fabrication work carries a 90-day workmanship warranty. This covers the quality of welds, fittings, plumbing connections, and mechanical installations performed by our team. If any component of our fabrication work fails under normal use within 90 days, we will repair or replace it at no charge. Electrical and pump components carry their respective manufacturer warranties.
Can you provide CAD drawings or technical documentation?
Yes. For engineered projects, we provide detailed technical drawings as part of the design phase. These drawings specify dimensions, materials, fittings, and assembly details. For simpler modifications, we provide a written specification document. All custom projects include completion documentation with as-built details, test results, and component specifications for your records.
